Welcome to steamandhorses.com the gite in Burgundy home site for Peter Lidgitt and Vanessa Gouldsmith.  We are an English couple who moved to France to fulfil a dream.

In the heart of Burgundy we have found a beautiful location which gives us the opportunity to work with our Clydesdale heavy horses, and our various steam engines with space and freedom, whilst enjoying all the pleasures of French living.

Our dream is to share this life with like minded people who want to have a holiday in our gite in Burgundy where they can drive or work steam engines and/or big horses or those who just want to experience all the gifts this area of France has to offer.
