Ferme de l'Hospice
Ferme de l'Hospice is a beautifully preserved stone farm complex, located in the Cote d'Or, south of the Champagne hills and surrounded by farmland and forestry.

We offer visitors the opportunity to stay on a working farm, with an array of animals, including Clydesdales (the Scottish heavy horse), a museum of ancient agricultural artefacts, a collection of working steam engines dating back to 1900 and a London Bus.

There is the opportunity to work with the horses and or the steam engines, during a holiday in our Gite, or just use the location as a base to explore the surrounding vineyards, history or other leisure pursuits.

We are close to Chabils and the burgundy wine and crement vineyards, so offer a perfect base for a wide variety of tasting experiences. In the locale you can go fishing form lakes and rivers; play golf on a course at nearby Tanlay; visit beautiful historical towns and chateaux, inhabited by the Dukes of Burgundy and the Generals of Napoleon; and use the abundance of green roads for walking, cycling and riding.

The Gite is housed within the farm complex and was once the shepherds cottage. Recently renovated to provide two bedrooms, shower-room, kitchen and salon it makes a cosy holiday destination for a family of 4. We have also installed a log burner for those who wish to visit out of season.
